Lynchburg Baseball Ranked 22nd in ABCA Poll

The Lynchburg College baseball team is now ranked 22nd in the nation according to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

LC owns a 29-7 record this season, including a top mark in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) with a 13-3 record.

Several Lynchburg players rank high statistically in numerous categories nationwide in NCAA Division III. Junior Dan Savage is tied for first in hits (62) and third in doubles (19) while senior Richard Palase is second in runs (50).

As a team, the Hornets are first in the nation in runs (336) and hits (433).

Lynchburg hosts Washington and Lee University on Friday at 1 p.m. for Senior Day on Fox Field.
