Junior (2014): Kenyon split time between catcher and designated hitter for the Hornets in 2014, appearing in 29 of Lynchburg’s first 33 games before missing the end of the season due to injury…possessed tremendous power in his slender frame, tying for the team lead with three homers…led the team in RBI for the majority of the season…went 6-for-11 with a double, four runs scored and six RBI to earn National Team of the Week honors by d3baseball.com…had two hitting streaks of at least five games, including hits in 11 of 12 games from February 25 to March 26.
Sophomore (2013): Kenyon used a hot-streak at the plate to assume starting catcher duties early on in the season…hit his first career home run on a long drive to left field against Averett University on March 5…put together a string of hits in 11 of his final 12 games before going down with an injury with a week remaining in the season…threw out 14 would-be base stealers on the season, good for the fifth highest for a single-season in LC history.
Freshman (2012): Started eight games for Lynchburg and played in a total of 11 as a freshman…had 13 hits and six runs including two doubles…tallied six RBI and 15 total bases.
Before LC: Attended Madison High School and was a two-year starter for the Warhawks…First-Team All-District selection.
