Greensboro, N.C. -- Lynchburg College senior Christina Antonucci (Lake Hopatcong, N.J.) added to one of the most decorated equestrian careers in school history Saturday at the Sedgefield Show Grounds in Greensboro, N.C., winning blue ribbons in both the Open Fences and Open Flat at the IHSA's Zone 4 championships.

Antonucci will advance to IHSA Nationals in both events, preparing to compete May 3-6 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa. She bested nine other riders in each discipline.

Antonucci also finished fourth in the Zone 4 Cacchione Cup standings, which recognizes the individual high-point rider.

She will make her third trip to the IHSA National Championships, where she finished eighth in the Cacchione Cup standings a year ago.
