Men's Basketball Team Hosts Team Camp and Alumni

During the last weekend of September, the men's basketball team hosted a team camp, which consisted of high schools from all around Virginia.  Referees from around the area pitched in to help.

A number of esteemed Hornet hardwood alumni were involved in the event.  Roy Roberson, head coach of E.C. Glass in Lynchburg, brought his team over to compete in the tournament.  Roberson was a 1,000 point scorer at LC, and he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees.  Three of the referees for one of his games were all alumni as well.  Wayne Davis is the third all-time leading scorer in school history, with 1,733 points.  Anthony Cummings transferred from VCU and was an impact player with the Hornets for two years.  Otis Tucker III is number two on the list, just edging Davis, with 1,756 points.

The men's basketball team greatly appreciates the help of the alumni in running this team camp.
