LC Golf Finishes Fifth at ODAC Championships

CAPE CHARLES, VA - The Lynchburg College golf team finished fifth overall at the 10-team Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships, held at the Palmer Course at Bay Creek Resort & Lodge.

Lynchburg shot a 314 Tuesday to combine for a 967 overall in the three-day event. Chad Wisecarver and Matthew Lipscomb each shot a 78 to lead LC. Wisecarver tied for 10th-place overall, hitting a three-day total of 238 while Lipscomb tied for 12th with 239.   

Colby Francis and Santiago Anguera each shot a 79 Tuesday and Ned Jensen carded an 85.

Guilford College won the team title with a score of 914, followed by Randolph-Macon College with 937. GC's Noah Ratner won the individual title with an eight-over par 224, including a 70 on the final day.
