2014: Took over one of the vacant starting attackman roles on Day One, and never looked back…career year, starting every game and finishing with 31 goals and 23 assists…tallied three games with a hat trick or more, including the NCAA tournament victory over Sewanee, where he scored six (also had three assists for career-high nine points)…notched three points or more in nine contests, including three games with three assists…shifty attackman scooped up 44 ground balls in tight spaces and caused six turnovers to help with transition game…will look to make another large impact in final season.
2013: Battled injuries early on in his second year, but still managed to post solid numbers…spent time on second-line midfield and the man-up offense…spent some time at attack as well…scored 11 goals and tallied six assists on the year, including two goals in the NCAA tournament…shifty player gets space for shots using speed and quickness…helps defensively, as he caused seven turnovers in the transition game…will take on a larger role with people leaving due to graduation.
2012: First-year attack worked his way up to the second-line midfield…scored nine goals and assisted on one other…picked up eight groundballs and caused two turnovers…with tons of potential, will look to contribute more in his second year.
Before LC: Four year starter for Boston College High School…scored 42 goals for the Eagles as a senior…was an All-Catholic Conference performer as a junior and a senior…named to the 2011 Boston Herald All-Scholastic team.
Personal: Son of John and Susan Galvin…has two brothers and one sister...has mathematics and accounting minors.
