Lombardo Named Men's Lacrosse ODAC Player of the Week

Forest, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced Players of the Week on Monday and for the second time this year, sophomore Evan Lombardo was honored as the top men's lacrosse player this past week. The attackman helped lead the Hornets to victories over Randolph College and Hampden-Sydney College.

The Franklin Park, N.J. native recorded 11 points, seven goals and four assists combined in the victories. During the 18-7 win over Randolph, the sophomore netted five goals while adding two assists. On Saturday, Lombardo scored two goals and dished out two assists while Lynchburg defeated the Tigers of Hampden-Sydney 16-10.

The Education major leads the Hornets with 39 goals, which is also good for third in the ODAC.

Men's Lacrosse returns to action this Saturday when they travel to Greensboro, NC to play Guilford College at 1 p.m.
