The Hornets honored nine seniors before they faced Virginia Wesleyan in their last Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) game of the regular season.

Game Breakdown

- Lynchburg opened the scoring with senior Harrison Brennan's notching one past the Va. Wesleyan goalie

- The Marlins tied it up shortly after but not for long because the Hornets went on a nine-goal run

- Goals during that run came from senior Chris Camarca, sophomore Evan Lombardo (3 Goals), Brennan, sophomore Andrew Thomas, sophomore Griffin Thoreck, sophomore Nick Willertz, and sophomore Craig Koester

- Going into halftime Lynchburg held a commanding 16-2 lead over the Marlins with Lombardo leading the way with four goals

- The Hornets came out buzzing in the second by scoring three straight goals by three different players; freshman Trammel Robinson, Junior Colin Mcguire, and freshman Michael Githens

- To finish the scoring for Lynchburg, sophomore Rivington Lambert scored the twenty-fifth goal with thirty-eight seconds remaining in the game
