Jason Page Resigns as LC Tennis Coach

LYNCHBURG, VA – Lynchburg College head men's and women's tennis coach Jason Page announced Tuesday that he is resigning from both positions, effective immediately. He is stepping down to focus on other employment opportunities.

The Hornet women's tennis team advanced into the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament this spring for the first time since the 2008 campaign.

Page led the Hornet tennis squads for the last year and a half. The Lynchburg native attended high school at Lynchburg Christian Academy where he played tennis for two years.  He earned his undergraduate degree in sport management from Liberty University in 2001.

"We wish Jason the best of luck in his future pursuits," said LC director of athletics, Dr. Jack Toms. "We will name a replacement in the coming months to guide the tennis teams."
