Lynchburg Men Finish Eighth in South/Southeast Regional Meet

Newport News, VA - The Lynchburg College men's cross country team took eighth-place overall out of 31 teams in the South/Southeast Regional Championship meet hosted by Christopher Newport University Saturday. 

Junior Anthony McBride was the first Lynchburg runner to cross the line, finishing with a time of 25:31, which was good for 10th place overall. Sophomore Andrew Osborne was the next Hornet to finish the 8k race with a time of 25:52, which placed him 19th overall. Fellow sophomore Tyler Timblin crossed the finish line with a time of 26:28, which placed him 41st individually. Senior Evan Parry finished the overall race in 82nd place finished with a time of 27:33 and freshman Ben Stern clocked in at 27:47. 

McBride and Osborne earned All-Region honors.
