Snow plows back softball's ODAC opener

Lynchburg, Va. -- Due to accumulations of snow throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia on the second day of spring, the Lynchburg College softball team has postponed its trip across town to play Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Randolph, originally scheduled for Wednesday.

The two teams will set a makeup date for the doubleheader in the near future. Please return to to see fully updated schedules for all Hornet athletic programs.

Lynchburg was set to open up ODAC play with the WildCats on Wednesday, bringing their 14-4 record with them. Randolph sports a 7-10 mark.

The Hornets will now open up conference competition with Saturday's trip to Virginia Beach, Va., for a twinbill with No. 1-ranked and defending national champion Virginia Wesleyan (18-0). The Marlins will throw the first pitch at 1 p.m.
