Women's Basketball Takes On WildCats and Generals This Week

Last Time Out

The Hornets traversed the Blue Ridge Mountains and braved the wintery roads left by Winter Storm Helena and headed to Harrisonburg, Va. for a ODAC tilt with the Bridgewater (Va.) Eagles on Saturday afternoon. Lynchburg controlled the tempo and were outscored in just one quarter. The bench came up big for the Hornets as they downed the Eagles, 70-55. Recording her eighth game with double digit points, sophomore Molly Shephard netted 14 points to go along with seven rebounds while the senior duo of Charmaine Hairston and Sarah Coronel combined for 25 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block.
