 Lynchburg continued its winning ways Wednesday defeating the Marlins of Virginia Wesleyan, 76-59, behind a balanced scoring attack with three players recording double digits.  

Game Breakdown

- For the second consecutive games, sophomore Molly Shephard recorded double digit points with 17 and 10 rebounds

- Senior Charmaine Hairston continues to produce for the Hornets following another strong performance, scoring 17 points

- Junior Caroline Naumann chipped in with 13 points and seven rebounds while junior Olivia DeFrancesco was all over the court with six points, 12 assists, and seven rebounds

- Lynchburg shot lights out from the field, finishing the game with a FG% of 50%

- DeFrancesco dished out a career-high 12 assists in the victory

- Shephard now has 48 points in the last two games
