Forest, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has named Lynchburg women's basketball senior Caroline Naumann its player of the week.
The forward from Mechanicsville, Va. scored in double figures in all three of the Hornets' contests this week, including a pair of 30-point performances. Naumann set a career-high with 30 points in Thursday's ODAC-opening win over Virginia Wesleyan and surpassed it in Saturday's victory at William Peace with 35, a mark that ties the program's single-game points record.
Naumann recorded double-doubles in both contests, registering 11 rebounds against VWU and 13 at WPU. She also had 14 points and five boards in Tuesday's 61-49 win over Ferrum.
She currently ranks second in the conference in scoring (21.7 ppg) and third in rebounding (10.7 rpg). She also leads the league in free throws made (45) and steals (17).
