Logue and Johnson Honored by IWLCA

GRAND LAKE, CO – Lynchburg College women's lacrosse players Kelsey Johnson '11 and Morgan Logue '11 were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll. 

Johnson, a psychology major with a minor in art and museum studies, helped the Hornets finish second in the ODAC.  The senior attack had her best year for Lynchburg as she scored 10 goals and recorded seven assists.  She finished with 19 goals and 13 assists for her career.

Logue, an accounting major, had an excellent year as a senior.  The midfielder registered 33 goals and 18 assists to add to her career totals of 126 goals and 51 assists.  She won 134 draw controls and scooped up 120 ground balls during her time with the Hornets.

Both Hornets are no strangers to academic awards.  Each senior was named to Director of Athletics Honor Roll for the 2010-2011 academic year.  In addition, Logue was named Scholar Athlete of the Year by Lynchburg College.
