The Lynchburg College athletic department each week showcases a question and answer feature with our Hornet of the Week. The twenty-second student-athlete in this series is senior women's lacrosse player Lesley Buckingham. She notched six goals in the first game of the year against Berry College in a 17-7 victory. Buckingham also registered four draw controls, two ground balls and forced three turnovers in the contest. The Herndon, Virginia native also converted on her only free-position attempt of the day for one of her goals and was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Player of the Week on Monday.
