Lexington, Va, - Despite taking an early lead in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) semifinal round, Lynchburg fell to the #2 Generals of Washington and Lee 14-4. Senior Laura Meisner led the Hornets with three goals.

Game Breakdown

- Junior Sidney Gleason put Lynchburg up 1-0 at the 19:20 mark

- W&L would then rattle off four straight goals to go up 4-1

- Meisner would end the run at the 10:17 mark to bring the Hornets within two at half

- Another 4-0 run to open the second half for the Generals would put them up 8-2

- Meisner would end W&L run for her second goal of the game to cut the deficit to five
