MacGregor earns ODAC weekly award in women's lacrosse

Forest, Va. -- After another terrific week to end the season, Lynchburg College women's lacrosse senior Dorrie MacGregor (Centreville, Md.) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's player of the week in her sport.

The midfielder won 17 draw controls in LC's two victories this week against Virginia Wesleyan and Shenandoah, breaking her own single-season program record in the category in the process. She now has 103 on the season.

MacGregor also added four goals and two assists in the 2-0 week.

She and the Hornets carry the No. 3 seed into the upcoming conference tournament, which begins Wednesday.
