Lynchburg Volleyball Defeats Guilford in Three

GREENSBORO, NC - Freshman Mackenzie Ross hit a game-high 11 kills to lead the Lynchburg College volleyball team to a 25-12, 25-15, 25-15 victory at Guilford College Friday evening in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. 

The Hornets put the first game away quickly with a .429 hitting percentage and never looked back. LC had a .307 hitting percentage for the match.

Ross added seven digs and six assists to her game-high kill total. Amanda Perry had six kills and five service aces, and Sierra Strathy also had five aces. Gabby Myers contributed 16 assists and

Sam Page had 11 digs, both match-highs.

Kelsey Ruehling had five kills for Guilford (3-7/0-5 ODAC).

Lynchburg (4-6/1-1 ODAC) continues its weekend road trip with another ODAC match Saturday at Emory & Henry College at 5 p.m.
