Winchester, Va. -- Lynchburg College's volleyball team captured its first Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory Wednesday night on the road, taking down Shenandoah in four sets, 25-20, 26-28, 25-14, 25-19.
LC also got 10 kills from sophomore outside Sydney Frink (Chester, Va.); nine kills, four aces, and three blocks from middle Lindsey Lang (Poquoson, Va.); and 28 assists from senior Lynn Walsh (Columbia, Md.).
Final: Lynchburg 3, Shenandoah 1 (25-20, 26-28, 25-14, 25-19)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 7-1 before a timeout in the first set, LC stormed back to tie the set, 10-10. The visitors put the set away thanks to back-to-back kills by Willis.
- Lynchburg led the second, 20-16, before Shenandoah stormed back to take its only set of the evening.
- Lang took over in the third, putting down six of her nine kills in a decisive LC victory. The visiting Hornets also cruised to victory in the fourth set.
- LC dominated the stat sheet, displaying stellar attack efficiency (.230 kill percentage) and strong serves (13 aces). LC sophomore Jalissa Linz (York, Pa.) tied her career high with seven kills.
The Hornets return to Turner Gymnasium on Friday evening, where they'll play host to Virginia Wesleyan in another ODAC contest.
