- Lynchburg trailed 19-12 midway through set No. 4, but a Sydney Frink (Chester, Va.) kill sparked a 4-0 run that brought Lynchburg back into reach, and Wrightson, Mesa Willis (Dabneys, Va.), and Frink teamed up to block the final two Royals attacks.

- Jalissa Linz (York, Pa.) led the Hornets attack with 11 kills, and libero Lauren Stanford (Mechanicsville, Va.) made 18 digs on the back row.
