Forest, Va. -- For the second time this season, University of Lynchburg sophomore Kaitlyn Johnson (Spotsylvania, Va.) has earned the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's women's cross country runner of the week honor, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Johnson led Lynchburg's women to a 19th-place team finish at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run on Saturday, leading the charge with a 14th-place race. Her personal-best time, 22:09, was the fastest 6k run in the ODAC yet this season and the second-fastest 6k race in program history.
Lynchburg's team remains ranked third in the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region.
