Equestrian ties for sixth at Randolph IHSA

Lynchburg, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's equestrian team piled up nine ribbons on its way to a tie for sixth place Sunday at the Randolph IHSA.

Freshman Taylor Herzog (Williamsburg, Va.) picked up two of the Hornets' pieces of hardware, placing fourth in Intermediate Flat and sixth in Open Fences.

Freshman Chelsea Edwards (Riverton, N.J.) had Lynchburg's high finish, taking runner-up honors in Advanced Walk Trot Canter.

Senior Missy Green (Vienna, Va.) placed third over Novice Fences, and freshman Allie Robinson (Duxbury, Mass.) took third in Beginner Walk Trot Canter.

Freshman Kelsey Brady (Mansfield, Mass.) was fourth in Novice Fences.

Junior Dani Herzberg (Beachwood, Ohio) took fifth in Open Flat.

Freshmen Saylor Hardin (Forest City, N.C.) and Cameron Sabolovic (Rutherfordton, N.C.) each earned sixth-place ribbons. Hardin competed in Open Flat, while Sabolovic rode in Novice Fences.

Lynchburg continues its IHSA schedule Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Bridgewater IHSA show.
