Perry, N.Y. -- Seniors Harrison Brennan and Cole Barrett were selected as members of the USILA/Nike North-South All-Star Game, as rosters were released on Wednesday. Unfortunately Barrett will not be able to participate due to a recent injury.
The North/South game puts the top 70 seniors from across the country on the same field in one final game. This is the second straight year the Hornets will have a representative at the game for in 2016 Lynchburg had three players named to the Senior All-Star Game.
Brennan finished his final season as Hornet with 25 goals, with 14 coming in conference play, as well as 12 assists. The midfielder collected 13 ground balls while also causing four turnovers. The Salisbury, Md. native notched career-highs in nearly every offensive category including goals, assists and points.
Barrett was the catalyst for the Lynchburg defense. A vocal and physical presence, Barrett was given the task of guarding some of the best attackers in the nation. The defenseman collected 39 ground balls and caused the second most turnovers on the team with 23, both of which were career-highs for the Alexandria, Va. native.
The game will take place on May 26th at 3:00 p.m. on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium on the campus of Providence College. The game will be live streamed online, click here to watch.
