Greensboro, N.C. -- The 20th-ranked University of Lynchburg men's lacrosse team blew past Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Guilford on the road Wednesday afternoon.
Senior attackman Evan Lombardo (Franklin Park, N.J.) scored twice in the first period to become the second player in Lynchburg men's lacrosse history to reach the 200 career goal plateau, and senior attackman Logan Adams (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) dished out two assists to become the second Hornet to reach 100 career assists.
Freshman attackman Kyle Lewis (Suwanee, Ga.) notched his first-career hat trick in the victory, while freshman attackman Brett Rogers (Leesburg, Va.) reached career-highs with two goals and three assists.
Sophomore attackman Trammel Robinson (Memphis, Tenn.) claimed three assists and a goal of his own.
Senior face-off specialist Bo Delaney (Marstons Mills, Mass.) won 10 of his 14 tries in the X.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hornets leapt out to a 6-0 lead after the first quarter as Lewis and Lombardo each scored twice. Lynchburg extended the lead to 11-0 by halftime.
Rogers scored his second goal and dished out his final two assists in the fourth period as Lynchburg polished off the rout.
Lynchburg will close out the regular season Saturday, April 27 at home against Hampden-Sydney College. The Hornets will celebrate Senior Day prior to the game.
