University of Lynchburg's softball program will play host to the NCAA Division III Lynchburg, Virginia Super Regional this coming weekend on the Hornets' Moon Field. The Hornets will play a best-of-three series against the Eagles of Emory University.
No. 17-ranked Lynchburg enters the Super Regional as champions of the Virginia Beach Regional, having bested both No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan and No. 13 Manhattanville twice to win the tournament.
The Eagles, ranked No. 18 in Division III, came back to beat Piedmont twice for the Demorest, Georgia Regional title.

Admission will be $10 per person per day of competition. Children under 12 years old will be admitted free. Lynchburg athletics will cover admission fees for current University of Lynchburg students who present ID at the gate.

University of Lynchburg will be celebrating the institution's classes of 2019 with Commencement ceremonies over the weekend, and so parking will be at a premium in and around campus. Fans are encouraged to park in the university-owned lots along the south side of Lakeside Drive. There will be no parking charge for fans on university-owned property. Fans may use the small parking lot off Hopwood Drive adjacent to Moon Field for a handicapped drop-off area, but that lot will be closed to the public at large. Please contact sports information director Mark Robertson or facilities director Bruce Reid with any questions regarding parking.
