Sparks, Md. -- University of Lynchburg senior Allie O'Leary (Salisbury, Md.) donned the uniform one last time Saturday in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's Division III Senior All-Star Game at the US Lacrosse Headquarters.
O'Leary, a defender, helped the South squad to a 9-8 victory, kicking off a sweep for the southern squads across the three divisional all-star contests.
Gettysburg senior Steph Colson was named the MVP of the contest after posting one goal, three assists, two ground balls, and four draw controls. Wesleyan (Conn.) head coach Kim Williams mentored the South team.
O'Leary was the sixth player in program history to play in the senior all-star contest, and 2019 marked the second-straight year Lynchburg was represented in the event.
