Fredericksburg, Va.-- The Lynchburg women's tennis team competed in the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament, held at the University of Mary Washington Saturday through Monday.

Ninth-seeded Christina Harris (Falls Church. Va.) represented Lynchburg in the Championship singles bracket. Harris defeated Jordan Vasarkovy from Wilkes in the first round 6-4, 6-2, but fell to Mary Washington's Danielle Mirabella in the second 7-5, 6-4.

Sarah Wyly (Leesburg, Va.) played in the Blue 3 singles bracket and faced Erin Cole from Catholic. Wyly was unable to move on, falling 6-2, 6-3. Wyly did make it to the quarterfinals in the consolation bracket and defeated Lindsay Russell from McDaniel.

Reagan Coon (Churchville, Va.) defeated Laura Penhallegon 8-5 in semifinals of the Blue 4 consolation bracket.
