Lynchburg, Va. -- Annie Tynes had a match-high 12 digs, Emma Drake and Disa Haugsdahl each hit over .500, and University of Lynchburg's volleyball team got back on track Friday evening with a 25-9, 25-21, 25-21 sweep of William Peace.
Tynes added two of Lynchburg's nine aces, helping the Hornets (11-6) gain an advantage on the serve.
Lynchburg got it done on the attack as well, hitting .260 as a team. Drake and Haugsdahl led the way, hitting .583 and .538 respectively, each with seven kills. Sydney Frink added a match-high eight kills for the Hornets.
The Pacers (11-4) got eight kills from Brianna Davis.
Lynchburg will celebrate Senior Day Saturday, Oct. 5 prior to the Hornets' 2 p.m. match against Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Guilford in Turner Gymnasium.
